| With the sun out came the gardeners, what a turn out for garden club today! We had a busy session with lots of weeding and tidying up ready for our flower bed. We pulled out lots and lots of chick weed and Gail taught us about what we can do with chick weed - make Chick Chick Hummus - yummy! A bit "spicy" but still delicious. We all got to try it, some thought it was a bit too spicy but others kept coming back for more. We picked some of the flowers that our bulbs are producing under our Lisbon lemon tree and dug over the garden bed ready for our living tunnel that will be getting planted up in the next couple of weeks. Still lots to do to get ready for Ag Day, any keen gardeners of any age are more than welcome to join us on Monday at 1pm around by the garden. See you next week, Victoria, Gail and Dee |  |
