Year 3-6 Athletics Day
Coatesville School Fields Friday 14th November 2025 Year 3-6 Students - 9:05am Start Whole School Sprint Finals - 2:20pm 'Rainsaver' Date: Tuesday 18th November The Coatesville School Athletics Day for Year 3-6 students is held on the school fields and this event involves all Year 3 to 6 children in their year level group.
The children will be competing in the following events; Running, Long Jump, Discus, High Jump & Shot Put. Each age group will rotate around each of the events in 30 minute blocks with normal breaks at 11-11:30am and from 1pm-1:45pm. Please Note: At 2:20pm we will holding the running finals for the whole school, starting with the Year 6 boys. As with all our of our sports events, we require a number parents to assist in a variety of roles to ensure a successful day. This includes supervising age groups as they move between events or the assisting with the running of a particular discipline. If you are able to help then please register your availability using the form below. Children are requested to wear clothing suitable for competing in a variety of athletics events (i.e. running shorts and lightweight t-shirt). It is also highly recommended that they bring a drink bottle and wear sunscreen. Children who are placed 1st or 2nd in events as well as meeting qualifying distances or heights in some field events will progress to the Northern Bays Primary Schools competition at Kristin School. |

Kristin School Date: Monday 26th November 2025 Start Time: 9:30am 'Rainsaver' Date: Friday 28th November The Northern Bays Primary Schools Athletics Day are held at Kristin School. Participating schools include Greenhithe, Ridgeview, Albany, Upper Harbour, Long Bay, Oteha, Glamorgan, Sherwood, Torbay & Kristin Primary Schools. This event is for our top boy and girl athletes from Year 4-6.
These children are determined by being placed 1st or 2nd in one or more events at our school athletics day as well as meeting qualifying distances or heights in some field events. |
