We are happy to announce the amount raised at the last cupcake day towards the end of last term was an outstanding - 

Wow!!!  We had so many cupcakes, cakes and biscuits.  It was amazing to see 4 tables heaving with food!  Thanks so much to all the fabulous bakers and the many positive people lending helping hands!
It was such an awesome effort, there was loads left, so they were able to sell them the following Monday at the regular sausage sizzle and, therefore, a few more dollars was made too!

Following the great success of previous competitions, North Shore Trampoline Club have decided to host another regional competition. The competition is open to all Primary, Intermediate and Secondary school students who live in the North Harbour region. 

These competitions are a fun opportunity for kids who love to bounce whether it be at home, school or club to test their abilities against other athletes. Who knows, where it may lead, they may find themselves working their way to a place at the Olympic games… the sky is the limit!

As a parent or friend of the school, you may be interested in supporting Coatesville School so I thought I would share with you the Ag Day sponsorship opportunities available. 
 
Ag Day, this year on Saturday, 19th October, is one of our main fundraisers in the school year and is considered a school day at Coatesville School with the usual judging of best lambs/goats/pets/plants etc followed by all the exciting stalls and activities.  It attracts the entire school and their families and usually the wider Coatesville community and beyond!  1000-2000 people can easily attend our traditional Ag Day.

Main sponsor: $2000 - this automatically places the sponsor in the silver category on our SPONSORSHIP SCOOP webpage  (click to view) where business logos are displayed under the different categories (support/bronze/silver/gold) with links to their websites/product/contact information. 
As a main sponsor your logo will be displayed on: 

• the back of the Ag Day tee-shirt
• the Ag Day map & programme (more largely displayed than other sponsors) - see last years below for your information.  
• the promotional poster advertising the event (if sponsor is confirmed in time) - will be printed & displayed locally as well as digitally - see last years also below for your information, and will be included in the Coatesville Chronicle which goes out to all of post code 0793 but is also online (please click to view) - see attached fyi

Thanks so much to the Tui Team for their great efforts last week in baking, setting up and selling fabulous cupcakes and slices!  Big thanks to all those customers who supported the effort as well!

New Zealand has been rocked by the tragic losses that occurred in Christchurch on March 15th 2019. 

The Coatesville School Student Leadership team, along with the staff, felt that it was important to acknowledge and honour those who have been affected. 

Today in our assembly the Student Leadership spread messages of Love, Tolerance, Kindness, Respect, Unity and Solidarity. After a minute of silence, they and the whole Kahu team led our school in a beautiful rendition of the Maori Waiata Te Aroha. 

Students were also invited to take part in sending messages of Love, Tolerance, Respect and Tolerance by creating paper hearts with heartfelt messages on them and by adding their fingerprint to a peace sign mural. 

The paper heart messages will be displayed on the library window and the Peace sign mural will be presented to a local Mosque.
