We really are having an amazing couple of weeks!  This morning new picnic tables were delivered to the school.  Thank you so much to Ben & Tamzyn Adding & family of Object Construction!  Another example of school families utilising their business skills, contacts and suppliers to make things happen around the place.  This helps us tremendously in achieving some of our goals as a school and allows us to put other donated/raised funds elsewhere, so we do appreciate it and are very lucky to have the support of our school families!

We were super excited when some brand new soccers goals were delivered to the school field last week!  Thank you so much to Charlie and Laura James and family of CJ Steel.   It is really fantastic when families like yourselves can utilise your business skills, contacts and suppliers to bring things to fruition.  This really assists us in achieving some of our goals as a school and allows us to put other donated/raised funds elsewhere, so we really appreciate it!

The winning school will receive $10,000 worth of new sports gear, an upgraded sports turf by the Eden Park groundsman, a VIP tour at Eden Park and a school visit from Keven Mealamu.

Our school has many sports teams which include the following:

• hockey
• netball

• ripper rugby
• soccer - Coatesville kids teams practice at school

Our school also participates in the following sporting events which include inter-school & super cluster tournaments:

• swimming
• cross country
• athletics

Some facts:

• our fields gets closed for up to 3 months sometimes
• we only have one concrete netball court to share between many teams when the field is closed
• some practices get cancelled if fields are closed and the courts are unavailable
• the school BoT will be renovating the septic system soon 
• the next phase is drainage and levelling the field
• the BoT has a list of sports equipment that needs replacing/upgrading which include; high jump mats & mat storage facility, easy up gazebos for sports events, foldable/storable soccer goals (could double up for hockey), discus & shot put storage trolleys

We are super excited to announce that the Friends Of The School have handed over $15,000 to the Coatesville School Board of Trustees.  Between sausage sizzles, pizza days, discos, cupcake days and firewood initiatives, we are very pleased to be in a position at this time of the year to be handing over cash that can immediately benefit the school.  The school will see the much needed replacement of the recently destroyed shade sail, as well as the fence replacement between the carpark and school which will be assembled by a school families working bee and other heat pump replacements around the school.

We are pleased to announce that approximately $2000 was raised at our recent school disco!  Thanks so much to everyone involved in the success of the Disco including the fantastic DJ Dave!  Sponsors Flow Academy, Net Kids, Pita Pit and Zuru, parent helpers on the door, stalls and kitchen, the bakers of those yummy cupcakes and the decorators that transformed the hall, all contributed to putting on a great night and creating an awesome atmosphere for the kids!  It was really great to see lots of teachers there too!

This goes towards re-painting and re-filling our Coatesville School & Community Swimming Pool.  Thank you so much to TTCF for your support!  ​It costs the school a huge amount to restore, however it benefits all of the students, their families and those families of the wider community.  Therefore, we are extremely grateful for the support of TTCF!

Thank you so much to all those businesses (school families & local) who donated us product to help us fundraise at our annual Ag Day held a couple of weeks ago.  Most of these donations went towards our silent auction which was pretty successful this year!
