Following the great success of previous competitions, North Shore Trampoline Club have decided to host another regional competition. The competition is open to all Primary, Intermediate and Secondary school students who live in the North Harbour region. An invitation is extended to athletes enrolled in trampoline clubs in the Greater Auckland Area.
These competitions are a fun opportunity for kids who love to bounce whether it be at home, school or club to test their abilities against other athletes within our region. Who knows, where it may lead, they may find themselves in one of our national competitions or working their way to a place at the Olympic games… the sky is the limit!

Read her amazing story here:
“I hate maths” mumbled Lucy bitterly, her head slumped on the table. “So Lucy” said Mr van-dam
“Yes” replied Lucy
“Do you know the answer?”
“The answer to what?” said Lucy confused
“The answer about how to divide two fourths of twenty into 5”
“Oh, um, 24” Lucy blurted out.
“Okay, not quite right, but close”replied Mr van
“Yes Bob” said Mr van dam
“1” said Bob proudly
Sooner or later the home bell rang.
“Good afternoon everyone, have a great night!” Said Mr van dam
Lucy thought about how embarrassed she felt the whole way home.
The next day she decided to try hard to learn something.
She paid so much attention. A answer appeared in her head, she put her hand up “Yes Lucy” “Is it 38” “Yes Lucy, well done!”
Lucy felt warm fuzzies all over her stomach. Each day she noticed that she was improving. A week later Mr Van-dam said who knows how to divide seven ninths into eighty nine, Hands shot up all over the class. But finally Lucy felt enough courage that she could possibly have the answer. “Six?” “Yes!” replied Mr Van-Dam
She was now the classes math magician.
She had improved so much that it was hard for her to remember, how she never thought she could improve. She persisted!
The moral is this story is to persist and to believe in yourself and know you can improve!
