North Harbour Hockey
The Primary competition is available to all school children aged from Year 3 to Year 6. Children must play for the school that they attend. Registrations are done through the school.
All Primary grade teams are scheduled to play on Mondays commencing Monday 7 May 2018. All teams are 6aside. Strictly NO boys are permitted to play in girls teams in any grade. However girls may be registered in a boys team only if required to make up numbers.
Grades Offered:
6aside 1/4 turf - for Year 3 & 4 (Mini Sticks) and less experienced Year 5 & 6 (Kiwi Sticks Development) players.
6aside 1/2 turf - for more experienced Year 5 & 6 (Kiwi Sticks Advanced) players.
Yr 3/4 Mini Sticks – ¼ Turf
Mini Sticks is an introductory module that is intended to familiarise players that are new to hockey or those who have completed the Fun Sticks programme.
Available to Year 3/4 Girls and Year 3/4 Boys ONLY.
Games are played across a ¼ turf for duration of 30 minutes.
Game start times are between 4.00pm and 5.30pm approx.
Yr 5/6 Kiwi Sticks Development - ¼ Turf
Available to Year 5/6 Girls and Year 5/6 Boys ONLY
Kiwi Sticks Development is an introductory module that is intended to familiarise players that are new to hockey.
Games are played across a ¼ turf for duration of 30 minutes.
Game start times are between 5.00pm and 6.30pm approx.
Yr 5/6 Kiwi Sticks Advanced – ½ Turf
Available to Year 5/6 Girls and Year 5/6 Boys ONLY
Kiwi Sticks Advanced module is for children who are familiar with hockey and have an understanding of the game.
Games are played across a ½ turf for duration of 30 minutes.
Goal circles are used and penalty corners taken.
Game start times are between 5.00pm and 7.30pm approx.

Winter Hockey
The Winter Hockey season has just finished, Coatesville School had an outstanding 2018 year with our Year 6 Coateville Kevlars winning the A grade Year 5/6 Advanced Boys competition which was an amazing achievement. We had three teams come second in their grades, two thirds and a fourth.
Thankyou to all the amazing coaches and managers for making this such a fantastic season for all the kids involved.
