Term 2 2011
On Friday 20th May, Coatesville School celebrated Literacy Week with all pupils dressing up as a book character.  Many character studies were prepared and displayed as hats, sandwich boards, posters and costumes.  The display made a colourful scene.  One highlight of the assembly was a visit from Super Coatesville Man [Mr Johnson].  During Literacy Week, teachers rotated around the classrooms reading a story of their choice.  The library was packed with new books available for the students to buy.

Past pupil, Noah, leading the Coatesville School haka group in a tribute to the outgoing principal Paul Greenstreet.  Thanks to Noah and Dad for their coaching of the group ready for the performance.  Well done boys you were great!
Mr. Greenstreet has served for 21 years as the principal and will be sorely missed.
