Pupils who live more than 3.2km from their nearest state school are entitled to catch a free bus service to and from school. Other children may make a private arrangement with the relevant bus company. However, please read below to see the bus routes currently available for Coatesville School students.

Morning Routes
Route 1687
8.25am from corner of Goldflats Lane & Coatesville-Riverhead Highway. Continuing west, left onto Wake Rd, left onto Ridge Rd, left onto Mahoenui Valley Road. Drop off at school.
Route 1601
8.30am at the SH17 end of Potter Road, along Potter Rd, straight onto Sunnyside Road, left onto Coatesville Riverhead Highway, right onto Mahoenui Valley Road.
Drop off at school.
Afternoon Routes
All buses will depart at 3.05pm – Due to other services departure cannot be delayed.
Route 1601 – Sunnyside Road
Depart from School, left onto Riverhead Coatesville Highway, right onto Sunnyside Road, straight into Potter Road, right onto SH17.
Route 1511 – Goldflats, Wake Road
Depart from School, left onto Riverhead Coatesville Highway, left onto Wake Road, Continue 800 metres to Oak Lane. Drive past, reverse into lane, back down Wake Rd, right onto Coatesville-Riverhead Highway.
Route 1687 – Mahoenui Valley Road
Depart from School, up Mahoenui Valley Road, right onto Ridge Road, left onto Elmore Road, left onto Paremoremo Road, The Avenue, right onto SH17
This bus will pick students up on the opposite side of the road. A teacher will walk students across the road.
The most recent change is to the afternoon Goldflats/Wake Rd bus which will no longer continue into Ridge Rd but instead will turn in Wake Rd and return along the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway.
