Room 5
One of the learning experiences for our syndicate in term 3 this year was to make an advertisement that visually demonstrated what is unique about New Zealand. In a collaborative effort my Year 2 class and I wrote the script, organized our costumes and rehearsed. When the big day arrived one of our Year 6 pupils filmed us and very patiently re-filmed the segments that we weren’t happy with. It was a very exciting day but unfortunately the footage I viewed the next day was minus its sound as the microphone had been faulty! Ugh! The children and I were very disappointed, but a few weeks later with the help of an I.C.T. GOD we voiced over the original film. The finished movie is not completely synchronised but we feel it just adds to its ‘uniqueness’ and the children love watching it over and over. My goal for 2009 is to have another go at a movie, this time with the new microphone! |
