Year 3-6 Athletics Day
Coatesville School Fields Thursday 15th November 2018 Year 3-6 Students - 9:05am Start Whole School Sprint Finals - 2:30pm 'Rainsaver' Date: Tuesday 20th November The 2018 Coatesville School Athletics Day for Year 3-6 students will now be held on the school fields on Thursday 15th November - 9:05am start. This event involves all Year 3 to 6 children competing in their age group as at the date of the Super Cluster event. The children will be competing in the following events; Running, Long Jump, Discus, High Jump & Shot Put. Each age group will rotate around each of the events in 30 minute blocks with normal breaks at 11-11:30am and from 1pm-1:45pm. You can view or download a copy of the timetable below.

This includes supervising age group as they move between events or the assisting with the running of a particular discipline. If you are able to help then please register your availability using the form below. Children are requested to wear clothing suitable for competing in a variety of athletics events (i.e. running shorts and lightweight t-shirt). It is also highly recommended that they bring a drink bottle and wear sunscreen. Children who are placed 1st or 2nd in events as well as meeting qualifying distances or heights in some field events will progress to the Super Cluster competition at Kristin School. The age categories for 2018 are 9 year old and under, 10 year olds and 11 year olds. |
Super Cluster Athletics Day
Kristin School Tuesday 27th November 2018 Start Time: 9:30am 'Rainsaver' Date: Wednesday 28th November The 2018 Super Cluster Athletics Day will be held on Tuesday 27th November at Kristin School. Participating schools include Greenhithe, Ridgeview, Albany, Upper Harbour, Long Bay, Oteha, Glamorgan, Sherwood & Kristin Primary Schools. This event is for our top boy and girl athletes in the following age categories 9 and under, 10 year olds and 11 year olds. These children are determined by being placed 1st or 2nd in two or more events at our school athletics day as well as meeting qualifying distances or heights in some field events.
